PromoHub installs on the Agent desktop and interacts with the GDS terminal. It allows a TMC to highlight preferred suppliers or special negotiated fares and actively implement a Customer’s Travel Policy.
The toolbar oversees agent activity on the GDS screen and depending on the point of sale rules set-up, it can highlight preferred carriers for particular routes. In a similar way, Customer preferred carriers or suppliers for specific routes or destinations can be highlighted on the GDS screen.
In addition to point of sale rules based on suppliers or origin and destination, PromoHub can display promotional adverts or on-screen messages to alert the agent to preferred deals or provide context based information.
PromoHub may also be used to redirect commands to launch external applications. For example, any hotel related command can be redirected to launch an external hotel booking application.
